Copper on the Fly is the beginnings of an Alaskan fly-fishing camp. This pristine location is in the Bristol Bay area of Alaska, at the confluence of the Copper River and Lake Iliamna. The accommodations are warm, dry, and comfortable and, because of the breezes on the ridge, mostly bug free. The cabins, set on a ridge over the river provide gorgeous views and sunsets. At the peak of the sockeye run in mid July, you can watch from the decks as the salmon roll by day and night. Later in the season, you can watch as brown bears forage in the marsh for salmon remains. You can fly fish for world class trout all summer or fresh sockeye salmon during the month of July.
